General comments of the use of ETS and the Mysoft Toolkit
The Mysoft Toolkit program can cope with accurate timing to any number of decimal places. As all pigeon arrival times are to the nearest second (as per RPRA rules) the times from ETS are therefore compatible with conventional clocks. If a club requires actual homing times to two decimal places e.g. 11:34:56.23 this is not a problem for the Toolkit program.
This applies to some One Loft races but if applicable to any Club it will cope.
Why use a customised program? It is possible and many clubs do use both ETS for a fast result and the Mysoft Toolkit for Points, Averages, Federation Sheet and publication in the press and automatic race certification generation. This combination can give a Club the best of both world’s and importantly saves the Secretary time and effort. Friendly competition is vital in most clubs and regular average/points updates helps in this respect.
